Rapper Mase To Divorce Wife
Regardless of their back-and-forth public status, Ma$e and wife Twyla Betha have filed for divorce according to a recent article from TMZ. After an initial filing in January, Ma$e later dropped the case before refiling after his wife filed for legal separation in San Diego.
TMZ reports that Ma$e’s divorce documents cite a separation dating back to May of 2012 despite the couple’s successful series of marriage counseling books apparently released in the same time period.

VIDEO: Arik Air Passengers Protest Due To Lack Of Air Conditioning
SaharaTV has released a video of an incident that happened in an Arik Airline flight headed to New York from Lagos. The airconditioning system of the airplane stopped functioning, this led to a lot of discomfort for the passengers
The video showed most of them fanning themselves and someone even has to remove his shirt! The management of the Airline - Arik, are yet to respond to this unfortunate incident

American rapper 50 Cent is stoking the fires of controversy yet again.
50 Cent says he doubts he could collaborate with Beyonce again. Curtis Jackson, who has worked with a variety of emcees and singers throughout his career, says there are a few artists he still hopes to collaborate with.

"I haven't worked with Drake or Rihanna, and I'd like to work with them," 50 Cent said earlier this week in a Town Hall interview that aired on SiriusXM's Shade 45. "They're artists that they do things that I don't do. It's a different thing. So we have to find the right song for us to be working with on each other."
50 Cent's respect for the Drake and Rihanna is tied to a few elements the New York emcee discussed.

50-Cents To Co-Star Bruce Willis And Jason Stratham In New Movie 'SPY'
50 Cent will be appearing in Spy, a spy comedy film starring Melissa McCarthy, Jude Law, Nia Long and Jason Statham, among others.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the rapper is slated to portray himself in the film, which is scheduled to shoot in Budapest this month.
50 Cent also recently wrapped filming The Prince, a crime caper starring Bruce Willis and John Cusack.

Let's say a guy named Fred is attracted to a woman named Martha. He asks her out to a movie; she accepts; they have a pretty good time. A few nights later he asks her out to dinner, and again they enjoy themselves. They continue to see each other regularly, and after a while neither one of them is seeing anybody else.

And then, there is silence in the car.

AMVCA Best Actor, Tope Tedela Nominated For AMAA Awards
The nominees for the 2014 Africa Movie Academy Awards, AMAA, have been announced. The African Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) Best Actor, Tope Tedela, was nominated for Young/Promising Actor alongside Evelyn Galle Ansah, Petronella Tshuma, Kitty Phillips and Shawn Faqua.
In the Best Documentary category, Nigeria got two nominations: Daughters of the Niger Delta and Potraits of a Lone Farmer. Others nominees were The Sand Fishers from Mali, Kushaya Ingagasi from South Africa and Sincerely Ethiopia from Ethiopia.

Chris Brown Moved To Washington D.C Jail
Chris is on his way to a federal holding facility in San Bernardino to begin his long trip to Washington D.C. ... where he will stand trial for assault. According to TMZ.com Chris Brown was accompanied by federal marshals on what will be one of the longest journeys across the country in prisoners' chains.
Chris will board a airplane, guarded by U.S. Marshals and appropriately restrained, the flight, however is not a non-stop one, there are so many stops he probably won't get there until Sunday.

Covenant University 100-Level Student Expelled For Twerking Naked
News filtered in this afternoon of a video of a fresh student of Covenant university who was fooling around in her room (at the female hostel) with her friends. Bisi, as she is called, tweaked naked but unfortunately the video leaked and it was uploaded on YouTube.
According to inside sources, her friend who allegedly recorded the video claimed to have deleted it immediately but an unnamed boy retrieved it from the recycle bin on her laptop and uploaded on video sharing site YouTube. She took to twitter to apologise after the matter spiralled out of control
The video has since been deleted from Youtube and further information revealed that the student have since been expelled by the authorities of the university. Details are still very sketchy about the whole incident at the moment.

Lagos Bus Conductor Steals N40,000, Jumps Into Atlantic Ocean
Nurudeen Suleiman, a 26-year-old bus conductor, reportedly jumped into the Atlantic Ocean while trying to escape after stealing N40,000.
According to a report in Vanguard, the incident allegedly occurred Sunday at Bar Beach on Victoria Island, when Suleiman approached a man named, Segun,and asked for financial assistance.
As Segun brought out some money from his pocket to give Suleiman, some additional naira notes dropped on the floor. Under the guise of helping Segun pick up the fallen money, Suleiman absconded with part of it – N40,000. Upon realizing what had happened, Segun attempted to apprehend him, but he jumped into the Atlantic Ocean.

Timbaland To Serve As Lead Producer On Michael Jackson's Forthcoming "Xscape" Album
Timbaland is slated to be the lead producer on Michael Jackson’s forthcoming Xscape album, according to Rolling Stone.
The album from the late singer, who passed away in 2009, is scheduled for a May 13 release. "Xscape" is the name of one of the collection's cuts.
It is slated to feature eight previously unreleased songs that has been “contemporized,” according to L.A. Reid, chairman and CEO of Epic Records, which will release the collection.
The deluxe edition of the album is slated to include the original version of the songs.

Nigerian rap star Wale punched a guy in the face at a World Wrestling Entertainment event Monday night, and judging by the way security rushed in to break it up, it appeared to be 100% real.
It all went down at "Raw" in Washington D.C. According to TMZ.com, an eyewitness Jawn Murray from AlwaysAlist.com said Wale was sitting right behind the announcers enjoying the show, when some fan seated nearby began taunting the rapper.

Scandal Star Assault: Alleged Victim Refuses to Press Charges
"Scandal" star Columbus Short's alleged bar fight victim has refused to press charges against the actor -- despite serious injuries to his head and back. If you missed the story...click here
The victim's lawyer tells TMZ.com, he's been in contact with Columbus' management to come to some sort of settlement without involving police. We're told the victim has made it clear to investigators he doesn't want the case pursued criminally.
The reason according to the lawyer is because both men are tight with the same people -- the alleged fight went down at a family member's engagement party -- so the victim wants to resolve this as amicably as possible.
If they end up settling, Short could end up paying a fortune in medical expenses. The victim allegedly suffered a facial fracture and a massive concussion from Short's punch, as well as serious neck and back injuries.

Nicki Minaj Grants Wish For Cancer Patient
Nicki Minaj helps NBA player John Wall grant the wish of a five-year-old cancer patient. She went to work this weekend by granting a wish to a five-year-old cancer patient. According to MissInfo.tv, weeks after Washington Wizards player John Wall posted a video message on his Instagram page asking for Nicki’s assistance in granting the wish of five-year-old cancer patient Miyah, the Young Money artist got to work making Miyah’s wish come true.
In addition to meeting Nicki, Miyah also wanted to wear one of the rapstress’ signature pink wigs.
With the assistance of social media, Nicki was made aware of Miyah’s story and invited both Miyah and her mother to meet with her for a visit. During the pair’s visit, they took pictures with Nicki while Miyah donned one of the rapper’s pink wigs.
