Chris Brown Transferred To General Population In Virginia Jail

After serving time in solitary confinement at a Los Angeles County jail, Chris Brown is now in general population at a Virginia jail.

In the past month, Virginia crooner Chris Brown has made his way from a Malibu, California rehab center to a Los Angeles County jail, and now to Northern Neck Regional Jail in Virginia.

According to TMZ, Brown made his way to the Virginia jail this week after a five-day long trip from California.

TMZ also reports that the singer, who spent a portion of his time at the Los Angeles County jail in solitary confinement, was placed in limited general population with no restrictions at the Virginia facility.

Chris is on his way to a federal holding facility in San Bernardino to begin his long trip to Washington D.C. ... where he will stand trial for assault. According to TMZ.com Chris Brown was accompanied by federal marshals on what will be one of the longest journeys across the country in prisoners' chains.

Kanye West turned himself in for booking after pleading no contest in connection with a misdemeanor battery case over a confrontation with a photographer in July of 2013.

According to TMZ, West and his lawyer entered the station at around 4:30 PM on Thursday (March 27) where the rapper had his booking photograph taken and was also fingerprinted. Kanye spent “a grand total of 49 minutes” at the station before being released.
