Timbaland To Serve As Lead Producer On Michael Jackson's Forthcoming "Xscape" Album

Timbaland is slated to be the lead producer on Michael Jackson’s forthcoming Xscape album, according to Rolling Stone.

The album from the late singer, who passed away in 2009, is scheduled for a May 13 release. "Xscape" is the name of one of the collection's cuts.

It is slated to feature eight previously unreleased songs that has been “contemporized,” according to L.A. Reid, chairman and CEO of Epic Records, which will release the collection.

The deluxe edition of the album is slated to include the original version of the songs.

Rap Star Wale Punches Rude Fan

Nigerian rap star Wale punched a guy in the face at a World Wrestling Entertainment event Monday night, and judging by the way security rushed in to break it up, it appeared to be 100% real.

It all went down at "Raw" in Washington D.C. According to TMZ.com, an eyewitness Jawn Murray from AlwaysAlist.com said Wale was sitting right behind the announcers enjoying the show, when some fan seated nearby began taunting the rapper.

Scandal Star Assault: Alleged Victim Refuses to Press Charges

The victim's lawyer tells TMZ.com, he's been in contact with Columbus' management to come to some sort of settlement without involving police. We're told the victim has made it clear to investigators he doesn't want the case pursued criminally.

The reason according to the lawyer is because both men are tight with the same people -- the alleged fight went down at a family member's engagement party -- so the victim wants to resolve this as amicably as possible.

If they end up settling, Short could end up paying a fortune in medical expenses. The victim allegedly suffered a facial fracture and a massive concussion from Short's punch, as well as serious neck and back injuries.
