The Actor Who Turned Down 'Superman, Batman and Spiderman' Movie roles

Josh Hartnett must not like money, because why else would he turn down three of the biggest roles in movie history? In a new interview with Details, the actor reveals he was offered Batman, Superman and Spider-Man in his career -- and said "No" to all of them.

"Spider-Man was something we talked about. Batman was another one," he admits. "But I somehow knew those roles had potential to define me, and I didn't want that. I didn't want to be labeled as Superman for the rest of my career. I was maybe 22, but I saw the danger."

'Kim-Ye' Getting Married This Week

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are getting married privately and without fanfare this week. Gossip website, TMZ learnt that they already have a marriage license and plan to tie the knot before this week is out.

Here is how TMZ is reporting it,
"We're told it's strictly on the QT ... so much so they got a "confidential" marriage license so no one officially knows. Sources tell us ... with a confidential license, K&K won't have to appear publicly at a courthouse to get married ... instead, an official from the court will actually go to them and perform the ceremony privately in their home. And then, in about a month -- after they're already legally married in California -- we've learned Kim and Kanye will hold a lavish, blow-out wedding ceremony in Paris.

Racist Donald Sterling Banned For Life By NBA

Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling is banned for life and fined $2.5 million by the NBA for racist remarks. According to reports monitored on HipHopDx, the National Basketball Association has banned Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling for life and fined him $2.5 million for racist remarks that were audio-taped, NBA commissioner Adam Silver announced today (April 29).

"The hateful opinions voiced by that of the man [on the tape] are those of Donald Sterling," NBA commissioner Adam Silver said in a press conference.

During the taped conversation that was released, Sterling made a series of racist remarks to a woman believed to be his girlfriend, including the following:

"It bothers me a lot that you want to broadcast that you're associating with black people. Do you have to?" he says. "You can sleep with [black people]. You can bring them in. You can do whatever you want.  The little I ask you is not to promote it on that ... and not to bring them to my games.”
