BALLER: Hip-Hop's Richest man, Puff Daddy |
The rest of the list after the cut
Dr. Dre is #2 on Forbes’ list. Born Andre Young, the rapper-producer owes much of his $550 million fortune to Beats by Dre, the headphone company which he co-founded with Jimmy Iovine in 2008.
Jay Z lands at #3 on the list. The Brooklyn, New Yorker’s deals with Rocawear and Live Nation netted him a surplus of $150 million each, helping Jigga assemble a $520 million empire.
Bryan “Birdman” Williams, also known as Baby, earns the #4 slot on Forbes’ list. His 50 percent stake in Cash Money Records provides the majority of his $160 million fortune.
50 Cent is #5 on Forbes’ list. Curtis Jackson’s wealth largely comes from his VitaminWater pact, from which he earned a reported $100 million.
